I remember a time when all the basics were just jeans and t-shirt, jeans and a hoodie. Everyone would wear them and eventually it got a little, well… blah. But no, sir, we may be in a recession, but the fashion industry is booming, and times are changing. Skirts and dresses are now taking over. And this has made this blogger very happy.

I’m not a girly girl, but I’m definitely not athletic, I am a theater geek. So that means I have to dress up on a regular basis. This new come back it making it a lot easier.

So, who’s with me for dressing up a little bit?

I love this new baseball shirt.  The three quarter sleeves are a perfect fall look!  This baseball shirt is like having ten shirts in one: I cuff the sleeves hanging out in the sun, I wear the unique arm length uncuffed with flashy bangles, I wear the neck buttoned with jeans, I wear the neck unbuttoned with bright scarves and matching necklaces to football games and I wear the neck unbuttoned under cardigans.

I also love this hooded long sleeve shirt.  As a tall girl, I appreciate a shirt that actually fits; this shirt has long enough sleeves and is exactly the right length for wearing with jeans or Soffe Yoga Pants.  The material is so soft and light weight, but then again what Soffe shirt isn’t?

I recommend getting these two shirts in bright yellow, purple, orange and royal blue!  You will look eye-catching, fashionable and beautiful if you do!

Oh how the days of Summer flew by this year.. Although the weather was not as nice where I live as the previous years it was still quite enjoyable..I traveled around this year, and with me I took all of my Soffe shorts I went Dairy Judging,  intertubing, and was a counselor. I sported my shorts at all of these places! My bright pink ones for a sparkle flash and clash, I wore my brown pair, my gray, pair my blue pair, and my purple pair all week long intertubing. And yes I even paired my shorts with my barn boots for Dairy Judging. No matter the style or the place Soffe shorts are the way to go. Now as we fall back into the ways of school, I purchased some new colors, orange, green and a lighter blue in which I plan to wear to volleyball and cross country. Life has been so hectic lately, but I found some time to post now!

While going school shopping, I realized I needed new shorts, for school and for exercising. I’m a pretty laid-back and chill dresser, so when I saw these mesh Soffe shorts at Kohl’s, I knew they’d be perfect for volleyball, tennis, and classes.
I got two pairs; one black, and one navy.
Can I just say that they are the comfiest shorts I have ever owned? I love them even more than the original Soffes! ;D

Also, after I bought them, I was thinking to myself, “Wait… these are mesh… and the holes are kind of.. big. EVERYONE IS GOING TO SEE MY UNDERWEAR!!!”. But, for some strange reason, you CAN NOT see your underwear through these shorts. I don’t know why… but it’s great!

Actually, while I type this, I’m wearing my black pair. (:

They also look really cute with off-the-shoulder tees. Or just regular t-shirts. Just saying.
